This KB article is applicable to AnywhereUSB Plus models, which run the DAL Operating System.
By default, the Ethernet interfaces on all AnywhereUSB Plus models are configured with DHCP clients enabled.
Note that the default names of the AnywhereUSB Plus Ethernet interfaces slightly differ per model:
AnywhereUSB 2 Plus: eth
AnywhereUSB 8 Plus: eth1
AnywhereUSB 24 Plus: eth1 & eth2
Instructions:
1. Log into the device's Admin CLI.
2. Issue the following two commands in this order:
> config network interface eth ipv4 address "IPv4_address/netmask"
> config network interface eth ipv4 type "static"
AnywhereUSB 2 Plus example:
> config network interface eth ipv4 address "192.168.2.1/24"
> config network interface eth ipv4 type "static"
